I submitted two groups of 3 songs for this listing:Here's the listing:HIGH ENERGY INSTRUMENTALS FOR EXTREME SPORTS PROGRAMS are needed by an established Production Music Library/Publisher with tons of TAXI signings over the years. Fast paced, exciting, adrenaline-pumping music in styles ranging from Pop/Punk, Hard Rock, Alt Rock, Electro-Rock, Psychobilly, Guitar/Heavy Synth-featured D&B, Industrial Rock, etc. will be considered. No lyrics/vocals for this one, please! Only uptempo tracks will be considered here. Instrumentals that range from :60 to 3 minutes are what's needed, but be prepared to provide shorter edits should the company get in touch with you. Excellent performances that fit the requested mood and broadcast quality recordings are necessary. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than December 24, 2008. TAXI #Y081224TVHere are the links for the 4 that got forwarded, starting first with the old stand-by's: 1) Blindsided - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=true2) We're Almost Home - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueAnd then two more "newer" ones:3) I Like The Pain - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=true4) You're Not The Boss Of Me - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueAnd now for the links of the songs that got returned:1) There's No Charge For Awesomeness (instrumental version) - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueWas returned because it was "stylistically off target." 2) Dark and Overcast (instrumental version) - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueWas returned because of recording quality - "Mix was on the mushy side." I had this reviewer for the inspirational forwards from a couple of weeks ago. On one of tracks they commented "Big Blue Barry, I'm a fan!" Well this time, they commented "Big Blue Barry strikes again!" That made me smile What a great way to start the week!- Big Blue

Man your good at this!! Loved them! How are you recording those guitars? And the drums, are they real? I wish you lived closer to me. We'd totally be jamming buddies! Congrats on these. They are just great sounding, great playing and great tunes. If I could get a sound half as nice as this I'd be ecstatic! Well done my man...B

Thanks Bryan! I just replied in your other thread, explaining my guitar process The drums are all programmed using EZ Drummer and/or Superior Drummer 2.0. I think "You're Not The Boss of Me" and "There's No Charge For Awesomeness" were done on SD 2.0 while the rest were done on EZ Drummer. One thing I forgot to mention about the guitars was that they were all recorded direct using my Guitar Rig 3 plug-in. That's my secret to the guitar tones I get. It's been a great investment.I wish we lived closer too - Big Blue
