Quoting the agency rep, "We're looking for FUN and ENERGETIC INSTRUMENTALS that are not too poppy, smiley or quirky. Tracks must have a HIP sound and a 'FEEL GOOD' vibe without being too Pop or saccharine. Good examples are:The Strokes "You Talk Way Too Much" http://bit.ly/MJQqJFThe Fratellis "Chelsea Dagger" http://bit.ly/OITc5fQuoting the agency rep again, "Overall, we're looking for RECENTLY RECORDED tracks by COOL and CURRENT ARTISTS."Your INSTRUMENTAL must be a minimum of 2 minutes long. Instrumentation and performance MUST sound TOP-NOTCH, CURRENT, and CONTEMPORARY. Instrumentation must sound NATURAL and AUTHENTIC. It's IMPORTANT that your SONG sounds like an ARTIST/BAND and NOT like a production music library track. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine). I like all the parts in your song. I feel like ours is a bit "samey". Oh well. It DID get forwarded.

Love the sound of this and nails the indie vibe beautifully. Care to talk about how it was recorded? Gear, etc.....especially the guitar and drums. Thanks , sounded great.
