Hey...no big deal...just thought I'd crow a bit. Congrats to everyone on all their forwards!1 for...INSTRUMENTALS IN VARIOUS STYLES (Action/Adventure, Suspense/Tension, Inspirational/Emotional, Horror/Terror) are needed immediately for a Production Music Library owned by a veteran in the industry. This material needs to be suitable for Advertising, Television and Corporate Film - broadcast quality is a must. All types of instrumentation will be considered, but the mood/approach should fall into one of the referenced categories above. This company offers a non-exclusive deal with a 50/50 split between the writer and the company. Your selections should be between 2 and 5 minutes long, and it’s suggested that each piece clearly express the intended overall tone - being sure to title your piece appropriately will also help to set up the expectation of the listener. Because this listing is calling for such a range of approaches/styles/instrumentation/tone, the more clear in the performance the better. Performances and compositions MUST be excellent and compelling.2 for...90's GRUNGE ROCK SONGS a la Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, etc, are needed by an LA-based Music Publisher with tons of Film/TV placements, including a lot of TAXI material signed and placed. Stylistically they are looking for that Seattle sound, with distorted electric guitar / dirty vocal influences. Great performances are essential and the sound quality must be excellent (solid demo recordings are okay as long as the quality is there). No instrumentals please - only songs with vocals! Male or female vocals are just fine.3 for...DRAMATIC INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a huge Production Music Library/Publisher that has signed tons of TAXI writers over the years. This company is preparing to place music in at least three feature films and also needs material for a variety of film/TV/radio/commercial projects. There are no restrictions on the instrumentation or the arrangement, but tone and mood of the overall piece is essential. This company needs music filled with suspense and drama primarily and the performances must be excellent. This is a broadcast quality listing, though great home recordings should be just fine. Pieces should not exceed 4 min. in length and they need to have clear endings - no fadeouts
