This publisher does NOT want actual songs written by Sousa, but rather soundalikes in the style of Sousa's marches. If additional instrumentation is used, please keep in mind that the brass section should stand out above the rest. Excellent performances are essential and broadcast quality is needed. This company offers a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than July 18, 2008. Thanks, guys! I kind of needed it; I had a couple disappointments with the minimalist piano listing. I went for the dark Glass angle and definitely not the sweeter Nyman thing (the Dark Glass and Liquid Glass pieces on my TAXI page). Got no love on those. So this cheered me up a LOT.
