I just got two forwards for a Praise and Worship listing. Here are the songs.
http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1The one below didn't make it. It's a rough demo but I think the song is strong and the demo was a decent quality. The listing stated that production quality wasn't of primary importance but that the song should be presented in a professional manner. I hope to get it produced with a Sara Bereilles Love Song flavor but I welcome any feedback on the song or the production in the meantime, especially from anyone familiar with modern worship music.

Thanks. It's my vocal. Jason Garner is the producer and Amanda Stotts (EMI Canada) is the female vocal.

"This Is Love" is really amazing. I had 3 forwards to this listing and if your first song does not make the cut none of these will. I absolutely love the vocals especially your female singer-she takes the song to another level. Your song reminded me of the Vineyard song of the same name that I haven't played in years. Keep up the great work.

Todd,Great stuff. Thank you for sharing! Regarding the song that was not forwarded, remove the vocals and it sort of reminded me of a few of Keith Greens melodies. Did he have any influence on you?

If you have heard Love Song by Sarah Bereilles I think you would hear an influence there, too. That one is deliberate.

Just my two cents - but I wonder if the third piece got returned because of being more uptempo (at least in terms of the vocal). I think it is just as fine a song, really liked it! In terms of production, I'm not sure about the congo-type sound, and I missed the bass on the bottom. Regular trap set sounds, a bass to anchor the bottom would appeal to me more. But again, I think it is right in the ballpark, which would make me think it is more a question of the uptempo feel perhaps not being what was sought. Great work!--Mer
