Hi Kel, This has a really nice pensive feel to it and a simplicity that I imagine would be great for film. I found the repetitive right hand notes a bit tiring after a while though and also a bit harsh sounding. I'm wondering if it would be better to lower the volume on those notes? Just a thought. Thanks for sharing.Georgie

Being your first piano piece I must say WELL DONE! I think this could work for the wedding listing. Maybe some more variation would add some more depth to it. What piano sample are you using?

I have struggled with those samples myself before I bought Akoustik Piano. I think Jam pack has many good sounds, but I feel the piano sounds are a bit cold and hard, especially in the higher frequencies. Did you use the sound as it is, or did you equalize it?

U are right... haha! I had to lower the volume of the high notes with the advice of Georgie above... The high freq are pretty harsh.. I might consider getting Akoustik Piano later too.

I for one like the stark simplicity of the right hand in this piece. Georgia is very knowledgeable; however, to each his own, correct? The subject matter of this is haunting and I think that the constant phrase drives home the eeriness as well as the constant reminder of a lost loved one who doesn't want to be forgotten.Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but as a first piano piece, I have to say I am impressed. As far as the patch goes, it doesn't bother me.Well done, Wig

Hey Kel;Nice job on this! I use Garage Band Grand Piano sounds for most of my piano work. It helps if you record the track at a medium volume, then triple the track and pan them:L -48Mid 0R + 48This helps replicate the feel of how one would experience the piano sound if sitting in front of it.The only thing I'd suggest for this song itself is to gradually work your left hand down to some lower notes halfway through to add more depth and richness to it.Lovely idea, and a heckuva good first piano piece. Bravo!Suz
