Electronic - what category am I?

Post by fusilierb » Sat Feb 28, 2009 11:36 am

Well I guess Mardi Gras is over. Time to sober up and get back to it. ??? I'm not really sure what I am. Electronic suspense? I'm not really finished yet, but am having an identity crisis that I need to solve before going any further. Any thoughts or comments?Rainy Nightshttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=2154 ... anfusilier

I hear a world vibe in the percussion. Suspense sounds like a good word here... the synth sound almost has a retro feel to me though so I'm it's hard to nail down as you said.

A world vibe huh? Just goes to show how little I know about what "world" music is. I was also thinking suspense, so at least I'm in the ballpark there. The synth is retro, but I really dig the rhythm it creates. I'll probably try to orchestrate this one out and see where it goes. But suspense is definitely the direction I'll take it in.Thanks again Patrick!B
