Here's an older song I hope to redo soon. Nothing is set in stone, so feel free to jam it hard and what not.I'm not afraid of harsh criticism Probably not a lot of female reviewers here, but they would sure help on this song. Most of you will probably tell me to grow some balls
http://www.dallasnetworks.net/media/sd/ ... ics:Friday night once againI'm holding on here withinTo the memories we once sharedWriting out all my thoughtsReliving all that was lostI never thought I'd be here all aloneYou can see it in my eyes...the fallingTears parading down my face...and as ITry to pick myself off the groundAll I see is a vision of us dwindle awayAnother fight I can't winI walk away and give inTo the tendencies you now fareBreaking down at your costWas merely part of your plotI never thought you'd be there not aloneYou can see it in my eyes...the fallingTears parading down my face...and as ITry to pick myself off the groundAll I see is the vision of us dwindle awayBeen down this road, no controlAll the signs say let goBroke inside, I hear your linesMoving on to a brand new lifeBut still I'm fallingTears parading down my face...and as ITry to pick myself off the groundAll I see is the vision of usYou can see it in my eyes...the fallingTears parading down my face...and as ITry to pick myself off the groundAll I see is the vision of us...dwindle away

I sure like your stuff and wish you would post lyrics along with the tune. I suppose I will speak for the 'we" here and say that posting a lyric sheet here is a must to be complete.Anyway your mixes are pretty good and this is no different. Although I do believe that you could take this one up just a notch or two dynamically.Good stuff

Your right! Grow some balls! (heehee)No I like the song! The vocals are excellent but they seem to get a little lost when the strings come in. Just a bit. The intro guitar, sounds like you are using an acoustic with a pickup in it. This works if that is the sound you are looking for. I think you would really like the sound if you put a good mic in front of the guitar. Thinking about it, you may have used mic directly in front of the sound hole. Try pointing the mic down the fingerboard towards the sound hole so you pick up the sound of the pick on the strings. More presence.Overall the song is a keeper!

Damn dude, you have a lot of really good songs! It seems like I like the bass & drums better on your older stuff . . . different players? There's a lot of low-end in this mix . . . it sounds good but the vocals need a little sumthin' to help them cut through.

Another great song. I do notice the bass line or some instrument sounds muddy in the first "chorus" (the part w/ no real vocals). It just sounds like the chord structure there is off somehow. The ending/bridge is very nice, very epic! But I guess I was a little confused on which parts were choruses or not, initially. So maybe that could be looked into.-Jeff
