Are these songs "country"?

Post by djb » Sat Jan 31, 2009 10:53 am

Hello everyone. I've just gotten my music hosting site started and I'm trying this for the first time. I have ten songs in my site so far and wonder if four in particular would be called "country". They are: "Leave It Alone", "All Your Heart", " I Know What Love Was" and "New Thing Comin' ". Would anyone care to listen? Feel free to listen to any others as well. Some of the others are more rockin', "With Out A Net" and "Don,t You Love Me" for instance. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks for your time. Dave Berdoulaywww.taxi.com/dberdoulay

Dave, Great stuff man. Very good production. The vibe I'm getting from your stuff is more Americana/Roots/Alternative Country and some singer-songerwriter. My favorite genres. Unfortunately "Country" nowadays is either Blue Collar Pop or Neo-Traditional, there's not much in between commerically. I definitely hear some film/tv potential in theses as the production quality is high and this sound is very popular.Andy
