I like this Alan.Production sounds good.Only suggestion I would make is after "disguise" in the chorus,bring something in to lift that next line starting "before". Something in the lower bass range if you get my drift, something that gets you in the gut.Maybe I'm thinking similar to Geo.Good work!Dave.

Nice tune...and vocal is great! I'm not sure how much "breath" is acceptable, so I'd go just a bit more conservative like Geo says.

Wow... I really dig this tune. The melody is really stickin to me. The whole vibe is moving me...Very emotional vocal delivery, very believable. I think this song is way cool. Really strong.Production wise. my only suggestion would be more contrast between the verse and the chorus sections musically. Subtle at first chorus if at all, but definitly later in the song. You can sure tell the verse from the chorus vocal wise, but not so much with the music track. I enjoyed this tune so much I think I'll listen to more of your stuff. Alan, Great tune man! The melody is wicked sweet. Very current. I'm not a fan of "breathy" vox at all, but I understand where you're coming from not being a producer. I second Dave's suggestion. Some bass note that just cuts through the music and slaps you in the stomach. Your production isn't bad at all. I think it's pretty good actually. I'll check out some of your other stuff.Andy

Hi Alan,Nice track... groove moves nicely, production is good, sounds are solid, and most importantly I think that is a compelling melody and delivery. I understand on not being a producing.. myself, I'm starting to realize my efforts are better realized focusing on my song craft and singing because the bar is so high.Having said that I agree with the above comments on some more chorus lift although that could possibly be achieved production wise without alteration to melody, although certainly taking the melody a bit higher wouldn't hurt.Nice work! I can tell you really know how to put together a commercially appealing and modern sounding melody and phrasing.

Hey Alan,I tried THE GREATEST THING. I like the groove. The melody was good. Lyric seemed fine. Vocal I thought could come up in the mix a little more. What I was waiting for was for the chorus to explode on me, but it never did. I think if you could make that happen it might be better. Just my 2 cents.Dean
