Re: Hybrid Electronic/ Orchestral Listing
Chuck,Cool textures, very clean mix. Suspenseful and moody. Not sure about high energy, though. But I like it.Some of the drums remind me of Peter Gabriel's Passion album.Always nice to hear your work! Good luck!Mazz

Really nice piece. You and Mazz are orchestral sensai's. I'm guessing this is a forward too... My only nit: you might want to take a little of the room sound out of the drums. I really like the way the flute lines come out of nowhere in the beginning.

Re: Hybrid Electronic/ Orchestral Listing
Mazz and teleblaster,Thanks for listening.Mazz. I was going with the mid tempo part of the listing. (the never ending quest to "read" the listing)I am going to submit two other tracks as well. I don't believe I've been forwarded to this company, so I want to increase the odds of a "favorable introduction"Chuck

Hey Chuck,Great work. A lot of interesting textures in your piece, and I really like those fast runs you have in a couple spots. As long as they really are looking for mid-tempo pieces, too (and I'm hoping they are because that's where mine falls!) I think this definitely should help out with that "favorable introduction". Dan

Re: Hybrid Electronic/ Orchestral Listing
Dan,Thanks for listening.I took the plunge and added Project SAM Symphobia to my arsenal over the holidays. They recorded entire sections. These fast runs are woodwind runs all played as a section (they have them in minor and major) It wouldn't be impossible to duplicate in Gold but probably would be very time intensive. This is a fairly expensive library but so was Gold and Stylus with all the expansions before prices dropped.Chuck
