Hi guys... I wanted to start by thanking everyone for listening to the many versions of this song... think I've at least settled on arrangement/style....I took out the break lyric and used part of the verse for it.... everyone's comments about wordy songs are sinking in ....All comments welcomed but does it sound "Modern Rock" is a main concern... any suggestions to help it that way are most welcomed...Thanks, Peace, Geohttp://

Geo,Pretty cool intro--got my attention right away. Nice guitars and good production. Clever lyric with unique content. Once you got to the chorus, I expected a big lift, so I'm surprised the melody didn't go an octave higher (or at least be doubled up there). The drums were pretty dynamic, but the little snare fills you used broke it up a bit much to my ears. Seems like it needed to be more driving/constant.I think it's modern rock. Is this this first instance of the word "Va-jay-jay" used in a song?Vince

GeoVox get a little lost in a few spots. I like it in the low "B" start, but I tried singing it the octave higer and it did sound pretty decent.Really like the new sound. That riff is great. Your voice suits this song much more than Mike's. (no offense)If each version gets this much better?????paulps I think that riff should be used as an experiment in a whole different song. I can hear a killer lead mix in there. Maybe even sports? Just a thought?

Thanks for the listen guys....Vince... Glad you like it.... yeah that lift was in my head but I couldn't go for it.... the melody is different from earlier versions.... not a trained singer.... so it takes me a few go rounds.... and a lot of cutting and pasting... well not as much as before...I dropped the snare fill mid line in 2 of the 4 choruses and like it.... No .. 2nd time... I originally used it in a spoof Paris Hilton song which will never go anywhere but have been dying to use it again.... it was on a medical drama... during delivery... thought it was the best slang word for it I had ever heard!!!Paul...Thanks Bud... it's G / G sus4 / C 7 / C sus4 .... I love sus4 chords .... use them way too much but it works here I think.... Redoing vocals.... there you go trying to convince me I can sing again... thanks but that's a lot of Uno.... I was even close enough for Uno to get the Key right... did word by word!!! I will try the up octave...Peace, Geo
