http://www.taximusic.com/download/18980 ... LACE.mp3Hi RRNice soothing piece... I think the piano is a little to high in some places. When it first comes in, some of the notes are a touch (just a touch) jarring. That click is there. I've been having trouble with my home setup doing those too. But I still haven't installed that second hard drive and/or I may have other issues on the PC. This may not be relevant but before I do a Cubase mixdown, I re-boot my PC and start no other programs. Sometimes processes are lingering in the background even after you close applications. Hopefully, it will go away on re-mixdown.I'm worthless as far as commenting on panning and fine production details. Nothing stands out to me as bad though. The piece is relaxing and soothing and probably has a number of applications as a whole or in segments. I'm not getting a "new age" genre feeling though I can't put my finger on that or what I consider "new age" (I could be all wet here). So I'm not sure if it's a complete fit for a new age listing (I need to see listing text-- how wide a range) but soft, soothing instrumentals are called for lots of times. If there is a listing that gives critiques, it's definitely a good idea to submit... and even not, it's only $5...Good stuff, Casey

DAVE...THANKS 4 LISTENING...Like your new pic... ...j Casey...I went on the Taxi referance site and pulled up all the New Age CD'S on Relaxing and Healing. Some of the stuff on there makes u wonder what the hell New Age really is.Some had drums...Some didn't...But most were like this track in one way or another..I can only know on screener day... I Thought the Piano was hot...Will fix...and Ihave to get that click out of there..Don't know where it came from, but there's always something somewhere to aggravate the shit out of u...Thanks for the listen..Jay.....

hi JJ--another very nice and melodic tune--beautiful man.--yes, i think the lead synth is a bit high eq myself--in the beginning the backing stringy sounds are almost a bit of a background noise sound first listen, 2nd too--it starts at :05 but gets better later...not sure if it's something to "fix" or not...just hit my ears a bit weird.yeah i did hear an interference type 'o click...--oh, on 3rd listen between :21 and :25 i hear the "guitar" panned a bit far to the right in my cans, might move a bit more to the center? but of course i'm going in for a hearing test tomorrow...(really...LOL)otherwise, another very nice piece of music buddy....well done!!all the best, down for the night...warren

Very calming and relaxing little tune.Maybe at :59 give the little background pitz string sound a tiny bit more volume. The note on the lead key at 1:20 I would have left out. Let 1:19 hang just to suspend a little.Maybe give the strings a little more volume on the intro. Guitar sits nice.Very Nice!!Kitz

It's often an "a la" game... My concept of what is "new age" is definitely not something to go by. Good luck!! Casey

r-man,Like the title--I always find instrumentals tough to name.I'm listening on laptop speakers, so take that into account. I echo Casey's comment about the electric piano being a little hot on the first several notes--do you have an EQ boost in the mid-highs?. I think this piece works--it's definitely soothing and there's enough going on in the background to make it interesting.Few critical comments: I'd probably try a hair more reverb on the piano. There's a percussive sound that sounds slightly "cheesy" when it's exposed--it's a plucky thing, I think. Good idea on the ritard at the end, but it sounds like the instruments go out of time with each other. Takes away from the otherwise solid feel of the piece to me.Can you tell me where this "Taxi reference site" is? I've never heard of it and sounds like it could be useful. Thanks.Vince

Nice tune, sounds like one of those behind the scenes on TV or a Soap tune that has a great market place. The piano is just a little too much up there but it's a really good piece. Could not believe it would no be forwarded if you have submitted to the correct item.Nice to listen to. You guys and gals sure have the techy side down. it's amazing, really.Doc
