Mark,Nice job. It has some of that 60s sound to it. I really like the harmony between the lead and bg vocals.Studio or home studio recording?Personally, I wouldn't mess with it too much. A little tweek in spots, but all in all, nice job.GB

I agree, well done. I'd love to hear more of the rhythm (acoustic?) guitar, and maybe a tad more bottom, but otherwise it sounds pretty authentic.....you sure you didn't dig this up off a nuggets album?

It's close, but the lead vocal sounds wrong to me...and I'll probably chop out some of the overlong lead solo.wrdsnmuzik - Thank you too! Okay, more acoustic guitar, more bass. You know, Bill Wyman really was a boring bassist compared to his contemporaries...Bill - I KNOW! I needs me a tambourine. And more cowbell. And yeah I just set the same old drum measure on autopilot...will fix it up. Although Charlie really doesn't do much else on this one. I'm actually impressed - you've tuned it in.bass - up.vocals - down.acoustic - personally I'd stereoize it but that'd kill the vibe so ... bring it up or add just a lil' bottom and high (still holding out on the mids)riff electric ... pretty good but I can't pinpoint right now what's not quite right on it ... check eq's vs the original ... drums - spot on ... I'd have to reference the original but sonically, I need just a bit more kick - or maybe a lil' more thump ... lead - bring it up. lead vocal level. Mark,Once you've got it where you want it, if possible, I'd love to check them out side by side.Regarding the home studio. It's crazy how good some of the HS stuff is getting. The fact that this is an HS product is music to my ears (bad pun intended).Keep up the great work.

Okay, suggestions taken and new mix is posted. I re-sang the whole thing, adjusted lots of levels, and faked a tambourine...I played a shaker egg, then ran it through the Camel Crusher plug-in set to "Annihilate". I think it might have worked.Roadrunner - Thanks for the kind words!cj - You better be careful, people might see through your disguise and find the nice guy behind the curtains.
