Hi Billy - cheery music. Right off, I have to say I'm listening on my computer and the music is very soft, so I'm not sure if its my computer or the mix. The songs are cheery - can't really describe them any other way. I would definitely revisit the drums on these, however. Audio quality aside (ex: I can't hear if they are realistic drum samples or not) the reason for my recommendation is that they are very mechanical sounding - repetitive, no breaks or fills - which detracts from the songs. Maybe even use hand drum sounds instead of a kit? Just a suggestion. I like the tunes generally, and would hope you keep working on them. Just my 2 cents, and I'd love to hear them as they progress.

I agree with Anne's note: "cheery" is a good descriptor. I hope you won't be offended if I add the word "cheesy". (said with love!) The keyboard sounds and especially the retro-electro-drum has the feel of the kind of 'demonstration' songs they used to load on hammond organs. This sounds perfect as a background to some odd little scene in an indie movie or perhaps a Kmart commercial, no, wait...the music for the old Freddie Fish computer games! (my son loved 'em!!)
