Hey Wig,Its a good song. A little Jim Croce-esque id say.IMO GOD is mentiones a few too many times but if its just a personal endeavour then leave it as is.Great sound and melody. Your voice fits the music really well.M~

Re: The Shape of a Woman
an enjoyable sounding song ....in a way, it's amazing how a piece with just a vocal (and harmony here and there) and an acoustic (or 2) can sound so crowded ...lots of picking going on and it's well done and well captured .... about the only thing I think could make it a bit better would be to dupe the track and stick it in the mix with some more stereo separation and be sure that it's a lot warmer and transparent track than the one that sits on this production. yanking out a whole bunch of those mids in doing so ...vocals are intimate to be sure. almost an old fashioned blues delivery that's easy to listen to and easy to wrap your head around.what the song brings to mind to me is george clooney in that "oh brother movie" ... if only for a second ... who did that song anyway?lyrically - it's a bit quaint but there's gonna be a whole bunch of womens who disagrees with this guy on dat shit ... in fact, I'm guessing the lady who it's writ for warnt too shy in thankin ya!(btw - I don't talk like that, in fact, I don't think I've ever written like that before this - see what you did!)enjoyable. not something I'd play everyday by any stretch but when I'm in the mood, hell yeah.
Gave up guilt when I left the ol' school girl uniform behind. You know, cute little skirts and knee socks, nuns and rulers and all that.

Wig,This is VERY cool. This would be great song for a film. Your lyrics and vocals here are superb. Yeah, the lyrics are a bit quaint perhaps, but I see this as a bit of a period piece.I found the second guitar part a bit distracting in places. At first I thought I had opened two instances of the same song, one slightly off time from the other.Cam
