One note jam with Omnisphere

I know it's an Omnisphere factory stack, with no changes to the patch. I usually modify the sounds to make them unique, but when inspiration hits, I take it. Just going for a groove on this one, with happy happy joy joy sentiment. I know it's verse....verse. What no chorus? Not sure if this would fit any listings I've seen. Just think The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows. I'm not saying it's anywhere near that level of song but it's a similar approach....except I change keys. I used 5 instances of Omnisphere, RMX, Trilogy, Guitar through the VG-99, Guitar Rig 3, and Waves plug-ins.

Geoff,I really enjoyed the listen. Good stuff from beginning to end. This ought to find a home somewhere. I happen to really like "Tomorrow Never Knows". Isn't it amazing that the Beatles are still influencing music today?Cameron

Thanks Cameron. I still blast the stereo when TNK comes on....one of my favorites. Do you think they'll ever remaster the Beatles catalog?

Hi - good track. Nice ambience. when then vocals come in there's a bass (guitar) sound that sounds a bit fuzzy to me, it kinda sounds like artifacts in the vocal line to start with. the rest of the track is so clean & clear I wonder about that buzzy bass g effect... which might work fine in industrial but seems a little out of place in an ambient track like this. Liked the lead guitar solo! cheersHummin'bird

Dang, I gotta get my Omnisphere working. I had it working at one point, and I did somethin' wrong and Sonar asked me if I wanted to delete somethin' because a window kept poppin' up and wouldn't go away, and finally I told Sonar to delete whatever it was, and now when I try and load it into Sonar I get: CANNOT OPEN MULTI C:\Program Files\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Omnisphere/Defaults/Default MLT_OMN.May hafta' re-install again, which I haven't felt like doing, considering how long it took the first time. Oh well, anyway, sounds GOOD!I-468

Thanks for listening Vikki.I think you're right about the distorted guitar behind the vocals. I'm going to take that out.Glad you liked the lead too. Thanks I-468 for listening. Love those Stylus drums!I wonder if you have to re-install the library with Omnisphere. Maybe just the plug-in part. Also check and make sure there is a shortcut to SAGE and STEAM in the C:\Program Files\Spectrasonics directory. I had to manually add mine for Omnisphere to work.

I think what had happened was, when I installed Omnisphere, it placed a Spectrasonics folder (with the STEAM folder) inside of the C:\Program Files\Spectrasonics directory. Soon as I moved the STEAM folder in the directory with the rest of the other folders, then it was able to show up, and I didn't get that message anymore. Now I just delete the extra Spectrasonics folder, as it's not needed anymore. Good deal! Wasn't sure what the heck was goin' on there. Thanks alot!I-468
