I dig the lead instrument sound a lot. That's you, live, right?Something about the ending doesn't seem quite right to me. For some reason, I don't particularly care for it going back to the regular feel after the little "b" section. Maybe the flute needs to do something that is a combination of the "a" section and the "b" section with a few more notes than what it plays now. The ending just seems like an afterthought to me. The rhythm section could break it up a bit more too right at the end.I'm being picky because it's such a cool piece. It needs a more developed ending to take it home and give it the punch it deserves. These little 20 second concertos are very tricky because every single note and gesture counts, nothing can be wasted or tossed off.Cool stuff!!Mazz

That's the pan flute voice straight off my Yamaha PSR-2100.But thanks for the suggestions on the ending. I'll take another crack at it after dinner.Kathleen

Well played! The phrasing is very good, it sounds natural. Those little Yamahas have some great sounds (especially if you know what you're doing, like you do!!)Cool!Mazz
