This is my song Never Again:
http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... stream=1My main question is what genre would you say this is, I'm no good at picking what genre some of my songs are. I'm not one of those "you cant pigeon hole me I'm so unique" people though.... Any other thoughts and comments are of course more than appreciated. danke!

Feels like alternative rock, maybe slightly indie rock. Very general opinion on this though because I hear a ton of different artist references running through my head. Maybe listing those will help you sort through what someone else is hearing: Beatles, Jack Johnson, Cake (only slightly), Echo & the Bunnymen...maybe that's enough. The rest I hear I think is more vocalist versus sound. Hope that helps. I'd go with alternative rock, unless there's some crazy sub-sub-genre that someone else hears.

Man I really like this song & so far I've been knocked out by everything I've heard of yours. While modesty may prevent you from saying it about yourself, you're pretty unique. I'm with kg & her comparisons and would like to throw in "singer-songwriter". I might be wrong but it seems like these days that category has sorta become a "folder" for stuff that may be hard to label.

Hey Dom - Dude this track smokes! Really great vibe. So nice to hear real instruments recorded through actual microphones. Playing together in the room? Anyway, I think indie pop/rock and singer/songwriter when I hear it. Indie cuz it sounds like a band playing together singer/songwriter cuz it's pretty much acoustic instruments so it retains a certain intimacy. Good stuff, hope it finds a home. eo.

Nearly airtight mix. Love the snare sound. Very real sounding horns; care to share your secrets?Yeah, it's indeterminate genre, lotsa places it could go. I'm not so sure what the difference is between indie-pop and alt-rock myself. Post-folk, anyone?
