Quoting the source: "We need Rock instrumentals with an edgy Dance, Pop, or Hip Hop feel. The style of the track HAS to be edgy and innovative with mass appeal. Dare to be different and creative. The style and sound needs to be unique so it immediately stands out and connects to a broad demographic range without disconnecting from the brand's identity. The production has to have a Contemporary sound. They need a Track that's structured more like a song (but without vocals), and not so much like a Cue made from loops. The music will be used for what we would call a 'featured source audio placement,' meaning somebody will likely hit a car radio's 'on' button, and your music will blast out of the speakers as the car speeds through the city at 160 miles per hour. The ideal track should have a guitar-driven Rock feel with hard-hitting beats that are rhythmically contagious and allows the bottom end to really stand out. As long as the beat has tempo and can provide the energy needed, it can go Dub-Step, innovative Dance, Techno, or live drums. The track needs to seriously kick up your adrenaline."

Hi hiimlarry,
I'm still a newbie so take it for a grain of salt but if ya want opinions i've got one...
I like the track. Nice vibe. I could picture someone driving their car to it too...
However, it doesn't get the adrenaline pumping imo.
Also the opp says guitar driven would work best. I could be wrong but i take that to mean it should really be guitar driven...
If you wanted to kick this up a notch you could try adding some powerchords and even making the kick drum hit on every 1/4 note (4 on the floor) could push it closer to what the listing is asking for.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck whatever you do!!

P.s.
There are guys here that know a hell of a lot about how to get your stuff licensed so
You are def. wise to be posting and asking.
Great little tune you have though

I think it works. Some of the edits points seemed a little abrupt to me, but then again I'm not very good at them myself so I could be wrong.

I considered throwing in some guitars, but it just didn't seem to fit with this particular track, and the synth seems to be around the same frequency range as a guitar would be. Doubling the drum time is a great suggestion though. I just made it today, and plan on making a few to submit. I like doin this kind of stuff. Lol

Good track. I am having a little trouble with this one also so I am starting my own thread. Maybe we can learn from the comments on both.

Great track! 8-) Love how the music hits you from the beginning and the edits points work. You also have the button ending. I would say this is a cinematic electronic track. Not sure this is what the listing is asking for as they say rock. However I always see those cinematic electronic listing out there.

I wouldn't add anything more. Its already pretty busy. Less is more and you get cleaner mixes with less.

I was waiting to hear the guitar, but the track is jammin'.... I don't think I'd try to slap a layer of guitar onto this song though - might just make it too busy and mess up the mix. Maybe do a second song with chunky guitars? There's still time.... :D
