Electro alt rock instrumental cue (DISPATCH Listing)

A la artists Imagine Dragon, AWOLNATION and Muse. "Growling bass, hooky synth parts, big obvious chorus, groove that digs deep, attitude and passion with electronic elements" to quote the listing.

I went B-A-B-A form on this one. Don't know if it's enough to satisfy the "big obvious chorus" part. Man these listings are tough!

Tried to incorporate some of the mixing and intensity building critique from before so thanks again in advance for the tremendous help. Also trying to incorporate smoother edit points. Thanks again!

Personally Ted, that chorus section doesn't agree with me. It's great on its own but I feel it's completely different from the other section and the listing requirements. I would try to do something closer to the first section, but maybe more energy. best of luck.

Thanks Joseph. I think I missed the "big obvious chorus" part. The B part was a weak attempt after developing the main groove. I am wearing my "newbie" label with honor. I shall improve. Thanks again. I really appreciate the help!

The intro and the middle part at 1:10 are very EDM sounding with isn't exactly rock.

"Electronic Elements" means that the electronic stuff supports the main thing in this which would be ROCK... and rock means guitars or synth parts that are played with rock guitar attitude.
You've got a good start on a backing track for your guitars/rock synths, so add some 6-string-balls now

Crank it up

Looks like I spawned a two headed monster. Maybe split out the EDM part for another cue then beef up the rock part as suggested. I am firing up the Cubase VST Amp Rack and grabbing the Strat now!

Do you eventually get to the point where you submit and don't have to fix? I guess right now I just have to split time between new listings (which will get better) and fixing previous submissions. Ah, the life of the "newbie"!

Thanks for taking time with the new guys. I know I really appreciate it!

Ted....
I agree with Russell on this great ideas all around but maybe this is two cues waiting to be separated!! :-) Keep your great ideas coming though!! Good stuff!

Listening to the a'la examples, I would say that they are really heavy in the synth realm... much more than just "synth elements" so don't be afraid to lean on the synths just do it with some Rock feel.
