Started as a submission for U150728CI. Not sure it's on target. General improvement comments are sure welcome! Thanks!

hey John,
You being from Texas I was expecting maybe Tejano.
I don't know what that listing is asking for (maybe post the text).
Anyway the piano in your song sounds a bit stiff to me.
It lacks the emotion that most Latin Music has. Well to me anyway.
I think it has potential though.

Wasn't this due on Tuesday the 28th?
Good music, good playin g agree with the previous comment on the piano. Its a little back in the mix. The congas sound great at the beginning, the piano is too far in the background and is also a little thin and dry. The bass needs to come way up, as does the bass drum. I think the piano could use a little more energy as well, it sounds very even and not to energetic, except for the last measure at the end of the phrase when you change chords.
I've got friends in Tyler.

I will agreed with the comment about bass. Latin music , specially afro caribbean fundamentally are anchored on bass and clave. I will suggest to add a 3-2 son clave and a upright bass synth.
good luck !

One question... since the drum track is a loop, what would be the best way to boost the kick drum? I assume I can do it through EQ settings. Advice?
