Hello Everyone!

This is my first post as I have just joined Taxi. I went to last year's Rally as a guest and was equally impressed and overwhelmed by what I experienced there!

First a disclaimer.
I am a life-long performing musician but am very new to songwriting. I've spent the last year experimenting with ideas and learning the basics of recording at home. I'm 62, so I'm "dated", along with my musical influences. (Eagles, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, and Brad Paisley, to give you some idea.)

I have a few songs hosted at Taxi and Soundcloud. I would appreciate any and all feedback!

I just wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to this year's Rally!

Hi Doug Welcome I am 66 so don't feel THAT old. Liked the second acoustic song. Specifiy one song you want checked out and what exactly you need help with. Include lyrics also.

Howdy, Doug...
You and I've got much in common, particularly in the influences category.
Your tune "I Can't Win" has a strong resemblance to Vince Gill-type songs, which aint a bad thing.
That photo of the Tele looks like the Classic Vibe-50 model I'm about ready to get for myself.
This will be my first Rally experience. I sorta expect it'll be a little like going to some of the reunions with musicians I've known
since high school - it most often is more like visiting a gear museum!
Funny to watch a bunch of old guys drooling...
and youngins pointing and asking, "what the heck is that?!"
