Hey all. I had two vocalists do the same song and I am not sure which one to submit. I would be submitting to country listings. The song is "Dream Another Dream" and the versions are first and second on the list at www.myspace.com/perrysmithmusicWould love your opinion! Thanks.Perry

I´m not heavy into country but here is my 2cents:I like DAD 1 (#1 from top) better though as I´m more that Pop kinda writer/producer.DAD 2 (#2 from top) has a much more country voice. Voicewise these 2 vocalists comes forward as one great pop type voice and one great county type voice to me.So I guess if you want your submission to sound as much country as possible its #2. #1 has a beautiful voice though./quitted coz I started repeating myself here

#2 is a great country mix and voice. #1 has a sweeter voice but is not solid country. Instead #1 appears to straddle the border between solid country and crossover pop/country. Either way both cuts are solid but if you are targeting solid country then #2 takes the trophy. Good tune. Good job.

Thanks, guys. Rick, I checked out some of your stuff and think the song "That Touch" is great.

If you're pitching this to Nashville, go with version 2. singer #1 doesn't sound country to me at all.
