Does This Song Match This Listing?

I could really use some of your thoughts. Does the song I am posting from SoundCloud seem to fit the description of the listing?

MOODY, INDIE SINGER/SONGWRITER-STYLE SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by MONDAY for a $5,000, Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement in a hot new TV Series. They’re looking for heartfelt, Down-to-Mid-Tempo Songs that would fit on a playlist with artists like (but not limited to) Amber Run, James Young, Sefreat, etc., etc., etc. Please take a listen to the following references to get yourself in the ballpark of what they need:
“I Found” by Amber Run
“I’ll Be Good” by James Young
“Oceans” by Sefreat
Give them well-crafted songs with compelling melodies, thought provoking lyrics, and a vocal performance that makes listeners feel the song’s emotion. Instrumentation can be acoustic (Piano, Guitar, or both), or have a fuller band sound, but should be somewhat consistent with the references above.
Introspective lyric themes will likely work well for this pitch, but you don’t need to limit your pitches to only that style. Universal lyrics that avoid references to specific names, dates, times, brands, and places will make your songs more appealing, but they’re not absolutely necessary. Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).
The estimated license fee for this is $5,000. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights (no publishing splits), plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than NOON (PDT), on Monday, August 29th, 2016. TAXI #U160829MS

Not an expert in these styles, but to me it feels similar enough to pitch.
A lovely song and fitting sound and guitar style to go with the emotional voice.
It all fits very well together, IMO.
The ref tracks were produced more high-end, but the description indicates that it wouldn't have to be so pop-polished as those? Not sure really...

Since the track is so well written, well performed in general and with lush clarity, I would think it has a chance.
There are a few minor guitar timing issues that you might wanna edit away though.

Say, will you consider giving me some feedback on my own p2p thread, Larry? I only have till Tomorrow, so I'd appreciate it a ton.
No replies so far, but of course it's Weekend...

Thank you in advance!

Hi Larry Nice to meet you. Very cool song. Like the vibe given off. Might wanna EQ some mids off the guitar to hear you vox more clearly. The harmonies are spot on. Also like your volume control from the powerful to the soft. nice job and good luck

Sincerely

Paul

Thank you Fredrick and Feaker. I took both of your suggestions to heart and have now re-mixed the guitar track and lowered the mid EQ. Two really great pieces of advice that have made a noticeable difference in my recording. Thank you both, again. - Larry

All of that for this: "The song has some charm but could be more compelling for the listing."
