Your submission should convey a fun and cheerful vibe, that’s super melodic. Your Instrumental Cue can be relatively simple and stripped-down as long as the overall mood is happy and emotionally upbeat. Here are 3 that I'm thinking of submitting. Are they on point for the listing? Anything that I should do to improve them before sending?

I also found that their reference material was varied and 2/3rds were synthetic and stiff, so I'm not sure if they will really like the real piano sound that I am sending as it is quite different. The second one is quite bluesy and funky and the other are more like the reference material.

I liked all three — and you've definitely got some blues chops.
My only reservation is the length of the first one — 41 seconds.
For a listing like this, which asks for about 30 seconds, that seems way too long.
I would even suggest getting the other two as close to the 30-second mark as possible.

I've had music libraries, that ask me for a 30-second alt version of a two-minute cue they signed, tell me 29 seconds is ok, but 32 seconds is useless.
I don't know if that logic applies here, but better safe than sorry.

I too like all 3 but like the 2nd one the most & then the 3rd one. I would also try to get them as close to 30sec.

I wish that taxi listings would list information like that. "About 30 seconds" is quite vague, especially if 32 seconds is completely useless to them. In regards to having the last notes ring out, how long should I let them ring out? I'm assuming that the time it takes for them to ring out should be included in the 30 seconds??

I think if the listing party needed an exact time they would explicitly say. Otherwise, :35 should be good.

Yeah, what Joseph said.
But just to be clear, the 32-seconds thing was something a music library told me regarding an alt version they wanted of a cue they'd signed.
I've been around TAXI long enough to know that if a listing says "about 30 seconds," there's some leeway.

Having said that, I'd still rather be closer in length to 30 seconds, than farther.
