Okay, I got turned on. That was sweet!I was really hopin' you were gonna tear it loose at around the 40-second mark but it sorta dropped off there. Otherwise, I totally loved this, it's got an edge I try to go for a lot myself (except in a different genre).

I like the vibe of this piece. Is this intended to be a beat to have vocals put on it or is it strictly an instrumental? What type of listing do you see submitting this to, if any?Good stuff, Let's hear more!Mazz

Yo, thanks for the compliments I was thinking of submitting it to the posting below, but I'm not sure... Maybe for (research/laboratory scenes) Where do you think I should post this? I promise you will definitely hear more, I just signed up as member yesterday. I'll have new music up definitely by next week on my page.MEDICAL/SCIENTIFIC DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS (no vocals) a la TV shows "ER" and "CSI" (and similar shows) are sought by the Music Supervisor of a major cable TV sports network. They're pretty open stylistically, but think of tracks that convey quiet intensity (think Operating Room scenes) to urgency (ambulance/emergency room) to positivity (research/laboratory scenes). Broadcast quality needed [excellent home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY -- NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. For ground submissions, please enclose a S.A.S.E. if you would like a response. Submissions must be received no later than Sept. 19, 2007.TAXI # Y070919MD

It's kinda got that CSI ('we're doing experiments here!') feel to it. The only thing that might be a stickler is when the guitar comes in, somehow it loses some intensity. I think it's the tone of the guitar. Probably if it was a grittier electric, it would be perfect. Is it a program? If so, can you find another one that has more edge to it? It just seems like it wants to go somewhere and the classical guitar pulls it down. Could be an eq problem, though, it sounds bit muddy. If you could solve this problem, it'd be a good listing for you. That's jes me though. Let the vets tell you what they think. They know more about instrumentation than I do.
