I like your production quality. It says alot about an artist. The lead vocal does almost sound like the singer from DM. Is that you?Good blend of textures. Guitars have great tone. Sounds top notch. I personally am not into the added voice clip but that is just me. Man though I love the chorus and the overall feel and I am listening on my laptop with its ok sound, I could imagine this would wail on my big system! Good work.

I really love the production aspect as you have gathered. As far as vocals, I'm not the vocalist but he sure doessound a lot like the singer for DM, at least in this song. Thanks for the comments about the guitars. That's my area instrumentally.

I really like the music. The intro is very intriguing although it may be a little long. The vocals I would say are the weakest part of the song...not to say that they are bad but are parts that are off. All in all, entertaining. God bless

Nice track, the drums are wicked - sounds and especially the performance.the bass is a littel woofy to me. The leslie guitar in the beginning is a lot noisier than I would want. Great little tidbits for the breakdowns, I like all that stuff very much. Is this for a band's CD?The vocals coud really benefit from another track singing an octave higher, or something else playing the melody with the singer, especially in the beginning. The tune reminds me of a Cdn band called the Tragicall Hip.

Very creative concept. I presume this is the story of the prodigel son? Very interesting "high-way man" monologue. I like your mesh of the tool/depeche mode style. I always like music that sounds like it's got forward motion. If possible, you may want to do some vocal correction with a software tool like V-Voice to correct the sharps/flats. You also may want to try changing the reverb on the vocals. Excellent song. I look forward to part 2. Matthew

Hey SteveI remember your excellent songwriting from my Drums on Demand days (I really thought Fan the Flames was one of the best indie tracks I heard in 2006). This is much harder but obviously your production has moved up a level. Are you still doing your own production?Either way - this is good work, man. Since I can't, I won't say anything negative about my singer but those are good suggestions. This was a stretch for him because he's never sung a song in this vein before. He more of a pop/melodic singer. I tried fattening his vocals with the effects. Thanks for the suggestions.
