TaraTara.. we’d all love to see you smile It just seems to damn bad We aint seen it in a whileWhat a burden your heart bears To make you wear that frownTara.. what has gotten you so upset Are you thinking he’s he one Or the one you might regretAre you waitin for fireworks Or angelic trumpeters ….for TaraIt’s the way that he touched her made her melt insideAnd how he kissed her they could kiss all night It’s the way that he held her baby hold on tightWhen they’re makin love you know it feels rightBut is it just alright … for TaraTara.. Are you livin your fairy tailDoes he look like RomeoLittle princes in you regaledSomehow the shoe fitBut the glass don’t match her gownTara.. why you bein so discontentSometimes Cupid hits the markSometimes the arrows bentDid you watch for the boomerangWere you shot from your behind ..for Tara It’s the way that he touched her made her melt insideAnd how he kissed her they could kiss all night It’s the way that he held her baby hold on tightWhen they’re makin love you know it feels rightBut is it just alright … for Tara … For Tara…Yeah for Tara..It’s the way that he touched her made her melt insideAnd how he kissed her they could kiss all night It’s the way that he held her baby hold on tightWhen they’re makin love you know it feels rightYou Know it feelsWhen they’re makin love You know it feelsWhen they’re makin loveYou know it feels ..AlrightAlright.… alright.… alright… alright, alright, alright, alright, alright For Tara ..For Tara …For Tara…For TaraWhen they’re makin love you know it feels rightAnd That’ll be alright…For TaraLyrics and Music written by: Michael S. Hi Mike. Its a good start, but I hear the same notes in the verse over and over.... there is little change in the intervals that make it sound melodic. Even start with "Ta... Ra.... " that the same note for both syllables, (and all the following words).... Start by making "ra" a different note, then see where that leads you being conscious to create an interesting and varied melody..... the rhythmic feel and lyrics are alright, but the mono tonal lines don't give it emotion, so you may find rewrites needed there once you start addressing the melody. As always, paragraph I C (2) (U) (i) r of the International Code of Song Analysis and Critique ( Icksack) applies and I may not even have a clue what the f*** I'm talkin about....ArkJack

Is that how they pronounce "Tara" in the U.S. or is that a regional pronunciation. I'm English and we pronounce it in a different way (but then we pronounce a lot of words in different ways to the U.S.). Tar pronounced as Far.I've never heard it that way before.Just curious.
