Hey everyone... Was toying around the other day with writing specifically for a listing (East Coast Production Music Library/Publisher is looking for SCIENTIFIC/MEDICAL INSTRUMENTALS for use in TV, film, radio, corporate videos, commercials, etc. ) and came up with a couple quick ones. I've never written specifically for a certain style, it's always just been what ever comes out so.... it only took me about an hour each on these and I was wondering if anyone out there thinks they are on target or just a couple more to toss into the library. I also wasn't sure if they were looking for a style in line with the CSI type series or more the discovery channel type medical documentaries.I won't ask for critiques since this is an open listing. I wouldn't want anyone thinking I was trying for an unfair advantage, lol! You can find them here:
http://www.broadjam.com/bloodorangethey are the first two tunes labeled "med series Pts 1 & 2". I know, such originality and imagination in the titles, lol! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and thanks!Paul

I think you're on track for the "quiet intensity" aspect of the listing that they are asking for. Part 1 is my favorite but Part 2 works as well. You're right, the titles are pretty catchy Mazz

thanks Mazz. It's funny, my boss/singer is exactly the oposite, his favorite is #2, more sparse and modern... as for me, I'm just happy they work, lol!
