I finally got a chance to listen. I like the song content(lyrics, melody & vocals). Being primarily a piano player/producer myself, I'm very critical of anything of my own that sounds like the piano has become more important than the song. Your arrangement of the song features the piano (rain) too loudly, too often. You could set those arpeggios way off in the distance(quiter with a lot more reverb) and they'd still create the vibe you want, but then you'd have more headroom to hear the voice & lyrics. I think the acoustic could be louder in the mix as well. Introducing another big sound, like guitar power chords, could help to beef up the dynamics of the chorus as well. Some offsetting BG's around the lead vocals (probably in the choruses) could provide another interesting color as well. Yes they're there in the bridge, but they aren't that big. When your chorus starts after the bridge, the excitement that should be going up, kind of plateaus out. There's an out of tune guitar note @ 12 seconds you could fix. When your 1st chorus starts, I would bring the bass in there, instead of later on. The conga track might sound nice at the beginning of the song as well. I want to repeat, I really like your song, just not the arrangement so much. But I'm not much of a lyric critiquer, so someone else might throw their 2c in. thanks for posting your tune here, steve

little too much high end on the voice, piano is much better, could still be quieter, i like the drums coming in at the beginning, I'm hearing some 1/4 note stuff in the chorus now(strings), that could be louder, I'd still like to hear BG's in the chorus(big pad sounds)but i hear the song much better now, I like the heavy guitar entering that last chorus, maybe the delay on the piano could be a little quieter also, but wow, it's sticking in my headI can no longer be objective however, I've now paid as much attention to your song as any hit I hear on the radio, therfore it is a hit to megood thing I'm not a screenersteve

Grandmatarkin IS close to the grand banks. The only difference is one smells like saltwater and the other like Ben-gay.
