The way you produced this one and the melodic and harmonic style remind me more of the AC listing than the RB listing. IMO this is more like John Mayer than Fergie. It could take a lot of work to transform it to an RB style but do-able. The real question is: could the RB producer hear past this production? Would a simpler piano/vocal demo that just highlighted the melody and chords be a better choice for that pitch? I'm not going for this type of listing so I don't know the answers but I think these are important questions to ask.Others on the Forum that are going for this type of thing may have some insights.Very nice song.Mazz

This is a nice song too, though Queen of Hearts hits me more squarely. This one probably has better sectional contrast.

If you redid it at about 120bpm it might pass muster for a motown type soundJ
