A new Drama piece "Ghost Ballet" is up on my site:
www.johnmazzei.com click the songs link.A ghost does a slow dance down the hallway. At first you're a bit nervous but then the dance becomes mesmerizing and strangely beautiful. Then the ghost disappears in a glow of phosphorescence. Maybe it was all a dream.Any feedback appreciated.Mazz

The music has a luminescent quaility - mysterious but lovely. Sounds very well-produced to me.Hummin'bird

John-Cool piece; really unique vibe...I like it.I'm not sold on the English horn part though (or whatever's carrying the lead)...it sounds very unnatural to me. I think this could be helped greatly if you were to write in some subtle volume swells here and there to give it more life. You could also draw out some of the notes to give the lines a more legato feel, which would be a better musical analogy to a ghost fading in and out than the current stoppy-starty feel.Nice work!Andre

Thanks for the feedback folks.Andre, I hear what you are saying about the English Horn (good ears!). I had a slight hunch that it wasn't just right but you put your finger on it. I'll incorporate your feedback right away. Thanks again,JohnEDIT: New version up on website incorporating Andre's feedback.
