Just submitted to S070302IN "....Sometimes this style is also known as "Light Activity" instrumentals: positive-sounding tracks that evoke intensity, productivity, victory, and pride......"For a while I thought that they might mean the music has light activity in it as opposed to something heavier sounding . Then it dawned on me that maybe they are looking for music to support visuals of people engaged in "light activities". What do you think? What is your interpretation of the term "Light Activity"?On my page I put an album together called "Light Activity" http://www.broadjam.com/artists/artisti ... ID=9913The cuts are "Clear Focus" and "Heart to Heart"Would be interested in any feedback on this subject and associated music. Thanks,Mazz

Hey Mazz - You're right about the phrase "Light Activity". It's about the visuals you're supporting - they are doing the "light activity". I think of the compositions used on CSI supporting scenes when somebody is working in the lab. Or the music behind an office scene or the activity in a medical office in a commercial - something like that. Cool bro, & good luck!

I like both of these pieces (is this what they call "minimalist" - they definitely feel and sound appropriate for film/tv background. Interesting compositions too.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.I would not call this music "minimalist". Minimalist is a very particular style which I like to write in as well but I wouldn't put these pieces in that category.I do have a piece on my site that is an example of what I would call minimalist.www.johnmazzei.com the piece is Clouds (k)no(w) Boundariesthanks again,Mazz
