Hi all - another attempt at a Pulsing, Sci-Fi Cue

Would love any feedback!
Cheers,

(From the listing:
Please submit well-composed Instrumental Cues that could work well in the context of Sci-Fi-related content. Your submissions should be arpeggiator-driven and can cover a range of moods from Tense and Anticipatory to Haunting and Sinister. Build your Cues around a simple, central melody that will sit easily behind a scene’s dialogue, while adding new elements as they progress to create a sense of propelling movement and development.)

I like the 'feel', the elements that push it forward. Very useful for a suspenseful underscore. Please give it a name that matches the emotion.
Does it seem too repetitive to you? IMHO, I think it could bear some variation in the percussive loop, as long as it doesn't kill the momentum. I expected the swells to take it somewhere, using different pitches or intensity.

Though certainly very driving, it does feel a bit repetitive. Perhaps a key change, or some new instruments popping out here and there?

Great ideas, thanks guys! Yes, I was worried it was on the repetitive side, but I also feel my stuff gets over-busy easily. I think I just need to listen to some refs and find ways of introducing variation without adding totally new melodic elements.
Appreciate the listens and comments!
Cheers,
Mike

OK - I added a title, a key change, a little more automation in the synth ostinato, and a teensy percussion change. Hopefully this is more in the ballpark.

I love the automated distortion on the ostinato, it really helps with making it stick out in the mix. The percussive elements and some of the drone chords could go down a bit in volume, I reckon

I think you're on to something! I'd vote for more, actually, of the swells/stabs/percussion at the very end, to telegraph the finish of the cue somehow. I got a real hair-raising sensation when I listened... a good thing, right?

Thanks Alan! Appreciate the suggestion - I'll try a few things out.
