What category do these belong to?

Hi. I have written these for a crime investigative purpose. The show is asking for two types: Serious and Slightly Dark. I have to know this before I send it. It's not "use it as you might". Neither are mixed yet and comment if you wish on the pieces themselves. Thanks a million.
