Hi all,
Have not been very active on this Board index lately.
Hope all is fine with y'all.
Comments appreciated

My pitch on this one...

https://soundcloud.com/pierre-veniot/apostole

TAXI # S220209SD
This Company is searching for Instrumentals and/or Instrumental Cues in the general ballpark of these references:
"Reminiscence" by Ólafur Arnalds & Alice Sara Ott

"Compassione" by Cavallo

"Into The Abyss" by Jackson Mullane

Quoting the Company: "We are looking for greatly produced tracks with excellent performances that are representing the style and genre very well, while still staying within 'production music' rules."

Please submit modern, minimalist Piano and String Instrumentals (or Cues) with an overall sad sound and feel. Your submissions should have compelling melodies and a combination of Piano and String instrumentation. If you plan on using virtual piano or string instruments, they should sound like the real thing – anything that sounds synthetic, low quality, or obviously MIDI-driven won’t work for this request. Please be sure that your production is high-quality and modern, as well.

Take care now

Pierre

No, I'm still developing my piano chops but they're not ready for prime-time yet! I'm focusing on the Dramedy and indie/alt rock listings. Best of luck with your submission!

Have to admit that my piano chops are not ''optimal''. Takes many ''takes''!
Thanks

Hi. Sad to say that when the strings are used as a long line under the flutes (sepecially) they don't sound realistic. I also don't like your choice of the major 6th (B), rather than the minor sixth (Bb) in the melody line. The use their of the melodic minor scale just doesn't sit well with me. But, the writing is great!

Sorry for the typo: it should have been "the use there..."

Hi, thx for your reply. There is only one Alto flute, and there are no ''strings'' it is 2 Celli, (i will revise the articulation on these, they sound forced a bit, you're right) As for the melody it is not in minor melodic but D Dorian, hence the B natural!
