hello Pierre, I like the almost Stormy Mondayish ending of the turnaround. The chromatic melody lines may not be the best fit for production music. And even it's a blues I wouldn't forget about the rule of thumb regarding the forward momentum (layering something new). Hope that helps. Greetings Rolf

This is a very standard blues progression, i don't see why it ''strays'' too much... i've been in a blues band for many years... we played Thrill is gone...
Last critique from Taxi, for a similar blues listing, did not mention anything about this not being a blues...

To clarify, you may have the chord progression but your descending lead line that comes in at 00:38 is what feels off to me as far as the references and more traditional blues lead licks. Listen to the lead lines in the ref track such as at around 1:40 ish.
