This is a nice track, but I think it's not quite right for the listing yet. Listening to the references they offer a wider emotional spectrum, they have more variation. Your piece sound the same through its entirety, the constant stream of 8th notes in the right hand makes it tiring to listen to after a while. There need to be places where the music breathes, gives the listener a break. There should be some more variety as well. Here are my notes from the three reference tracks, I hope they help.

Cheer Season 2: Spare, ambient. Starts with half notes and a subtle pulse. Quiet pad enters after eight bars.

Believe In We: Very simple. Chords are whole notes, repeated note at the top of the piano, 8th note echo, new phrase at 0:33 adds 16th note repeat/delay,

We Can We Will: Starts with swell pad, whole note followed by 8th note pulse that builds in intensity to next phrase. Chords move in half notes while 8th note pulse continues. New pad enters near end. Slight pause, then new theme with 16th note accompaniment, subtle string pad enters underneath. Density grows near end, breakdown button ending.

I think Paulie makes good points. Maybe at about 40 seconds where that phrase ends you could go to whole notes and have a swelling pad, or a solo string instrument play against the held notes for a B section.
