It is my hope that I am not stepping on any musical toes, so please let me know if my tension instrumental sounds too familiar. And if so, in what way?
I have provided only the first 30 seconds and the piece starts out somewhat quietly. Also, I hope the link works. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It was a bit unsettling - but, yes - the link worked.

Usually best to post the whole thing, along with a copy of the listing and reference tracks.

It's hard to know with such a short clip and no references...it's somewhat atonal and drone like ...not really sure if the synth notes that are playing on top work for me , some of them sound out of key with the pedal tone and I can't really lock onto any sense of timing. Be perhaps that's what you were going for ?

Doesn't really remind me of anything.
