INDIE ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a globally distributed Music Licensing Company that works with some of the Top Advertising Companies in the US and has a lot of success landing TONS of Major Network placements every year!

This Company is looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues in the general wheelhouse of the following examples:

Jeep E-Shop Commercial

Fixer Upper: Welcome Home (from 0:00 to 0:26)

Sheet Pan Shrimp Tacos

Rock the Block (from 0:00 to 1:15)

Please submit well-produced Indie Rock Instrumental Cues that could be heard on home improvement style shows like you'd see on HGTV! Your submissions should have engaging motifs, rockin' guitars, inviting rhythms, and solid arrangements with plenty of dynamics, forward motion, and interest. Indie Rock instrumentation that falls in the general ballpark of the references will suit your submissions best. Please be sure your production is polished and any virtual instruments or samples you use may choose to use are high-quality and current-sounding.

Your submissions should be about 90 seconds to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

I think your sounds are in the right realm, but the track lacks development. Aside from the lead guitar, it feels like it's just a loop with a tag on the end. Maybe introduce the rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, bass and lead guitar in a staggered way instead of all at once. Also, if you're going to have a lead guitar it might help to have a motif that is developed through the whole track. A lead guitar that is just sort of a meandering solo might not be what someone is looking for in production music - none of the references have this sort of lead instrument.

I could be wrong, but it also sounded like a couple of the drum fills were copy/pasted and unless it's a motif, a drummer probably wouldn't repeat the same exact fill so maybe some variation could help there. The drum fill at like 8sec in the beginning seems to happen without any particular reason. It's a cool fill, but usually that type of thing would happen going into a transition. Then at the end the fill should happen going into the ending instead of the measure before.
