Any and all comments are appreciated, but specifically it's the piano I'm wondering about. I'm trying for a Jobim kind of sound but if I miss it I'll get 'need to update your dated sounds' and then I'll need a new monitor after I throw mine across the room.

KITSCHY, 1960s Style INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an extremely busy Music Library with a tremendously long list of killer placements in Hit TV Shows!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Library is open to hearing both Vintage recordings from the 1960s OR recently-recorded tracks that sound like they could've been recorded in the '60s.

This Company is looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals in the general ballpark of these references:

"Wave" by Antonio Carlos Jobim

"Ebb Tide" by Ray Conniff

"And I Love Her" by Santo & Johnny

"Soul Bossa Nova" by Quincy Jones

Quoting the Library: "I'm looking for stuff like the music heard in all those old '60s films and documentaries. Tracks would need to sound authentic to the period, so no modern elements mixed in, like EDM or Electronica or whatever. Just pure '60s cheese."

Please send in well-crafted Instrumentals that could transport the listener back to the 1960s! Your submissions should have memorable motifs, solid arrangements, and nostalgic instrumentation that's generally similar to the references. Any and all virtual instruments or samples you use should sound like the real thing—nothing stiff or obviously MIDI-driven will work here.

I can't speak to the authenticity of the piano patch, but I loved the tune; that sounded quite authentic for the style. The accordian(?) almost sounds like a melodica on lead. Nicely placed in the soundstage, whatever it is.

Bandoneon, eh? Well, thanks for that: I just fell down the Google rabbit-hole, learning about the instrument and its relationship to Argentinian tango music!

I now this listing closed already, but the piano patch sounds fine to me. the strings at the one minute mark sounds kind of midi-ish.

I submitted some bossa novas to a recently listing, and the screener gave me a hard time about the rhodes I had playing the rhythm part. They told me acoustic guitar would've been more authentic to the style, so hopefully they don't get you there.
