Missed the deadline, but still seeking feedback!

Hey everyone! I unfortunately missed the deadline for this one, but I went ahead and finished it and thought I'd put it out there for some feedback. It's a youthful, feel-good instrumental for kid/teen programming. I don't have the full listing, but I'll post a couple of the references from what I remember. Thanks for taking the time to read and listen!

Hey Brent!
I just listened to the forwards, I submitted a track but did not make the cut...
I think your tune stylistically would fit in well with what was forwarded, great work! It might be a tad slower than the majority of the forwards, but that's all I can think of that might have set it apart from the pack. My recommendation, submit before the deadline next time ;)

I thought this was in the ballpark, but I think the slide guitar could have been brought in earlier because it sounded like the main "riff" in the piece. The rest of the instruments and claps sounded real good.

Very cool number - it does feel playful and remind me of childhood! I don't know what the constraints were but my gut tells me it's too long and complicated. Figure out which bits you really love and leave the listener hungry. It is good the way it is but you requested feedback so trying to provide that. Cheers.

Nice work on this Brent! Well performed and produced, and offers lots of variations and edit points. Mix-wise, I'd probably bring up the synth during the breakdown at 1:25, and mute the bass during the transition at 1:46. I agree that it could be a bit long, so maybe do a 90- second edit as well? Best of luck!
