wow the best I heard from you paul

well done with that falsetto too

barely even noticed it

you should consider doing a cover of bohemian rhapsody next

be a good test to see how high you can take it

Hi Crash. I sang all the high harmonies in our band..Didn't solo many. I did the "smokin in the boys room" type songs tho.

I have a hole cut in my studio chair with a gadget that automatically gives my balls two twists on any notes higher than E.

As far as the track, it's easy to write from a personal experience. Thanks for the chat

Good song. I don't mind your falsetto, but I'm not sure this vocal is usable.

On the lyrics, rather than just stating "middle school" describe it " you had a little trouble in school, kids can be so cruel, but you made it through, walking with your head held high...."

I'm not a fan of hard panning, so I'd suggest intertwining the guitars differently.

that's my $0.02

hope this helps,

Michael

Didn't you say you had them surgically removed, or no sorry maybe I'm thinking of someone else who cut his own balls off

anyway it doesn't matter how you get your falsetto, As your fully aware, its all about how you use it in the song

and I think you did a good job with it in your track, I really think try doing a Bee Gee's cover, These guys where by far one of the best users of falsetto, even I'm starting to think I'd better start working on mine
Listening to these guys in action, I hear it does give the song some extra sputnik planitia spunk

As a spoof, our band did a Bee Gee's song called "stayin alive" except we made up our own lyrics and called it "barely alive" ha ha I can sing the high E and sing along with the heart song Crazy on you" It's really no big deal if I can't talk for a few days after. My wife enjoys the solitude.

Hey Peter I think of you often. We go back a very long time. It is a little more difficult at this advanced age to make songs, but I'm not giving up yet. I sing at the senior's center. They appreciate the music. Hell I could play chopsticks and they would be happy. BTW i can't do multiple quote replies.

Hi Michael. I didn't want the bridge too long in fact that rushed area with only "kids cruel" is way too rushed. I'm thinking of changing up that area.
You have a good ear for panning. I am a bumbler and have not been schooled on mixing. I will do some homework on guitar panning. I do everything except the drums
Thanks for taking the time and nice meeting you.
Paul

yes, I agree, the industry seems to want to get to the point so fast ya might miss it... :D

on the guitars, try panning the guitar a bit to one side and send the delay or reverb to the other side at the same pan level, that might help balance things. And if you ever want a live drum track. Just let me know.

cheers,

Michael
