Feedback for CHILDREN'S INSTRUMENTAL

Post by AlonMarcus » Thu Jul 18, 2024 6:33 am

Although there isn't much time left, I would like to submit my track for the following brief. I would love to hear your thoughts, and get any last-minute tips and suggestions.

Track: https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/LW ... -adventure
In case the taxi link won't work, here is the same track on soundcloud:
https://soundcloud.com/alon-marcus-9837 ... -adventure

Brief:

Tons of ORIGINAL CHILDREN'S INSTRUMENTALS (in a wide range of genres and styles) are needed by a well-established Los Angeles-based production house/library with a long track record of tv, film, and advertising placements.

This Company is searching for a wide range of Instrumentals in ALL TEMPOS that are in the general stylistic ballpark of the following examples:

Chris and Airport Challenge for kids | Chris Kids show (00:20 - 00:38)

Easy DIY Science Experiment for Kids Microwave Ivory Soap Bar | Ryan's World (03:06 - 03:47)

Roma Diana and their sweetest stories for children | Kids Roma Show (16:26 - 16:50)

NOTE: This Company is mainly looking for ORIGINAL Children's Instrumentals, but Instrumental covers of public-domain Children's Songs are ok as well. Please DO NOT send in Instrumental covers of copyrighted material.

Quoting the Client: "All genres will be considered, as long as the tracks feel fun, upbeat, positive, comedic, quirky, cute, and appropriate to the age of the audience, generally ages 5-8."

Please submit original Instrumentals with a happy sound that could work for Children's programming. Since this listing is open to a wide range of genres and styles, instrumentation may vary depending on which direction you choose to go. Please be sure your productions and any virtual instruments you use are high-quality and not dated-sounding.

If you are submitting an Instrumental cover, please double-check to make sure that it is truly in the Public Domain! Check out this website for more info.

DO NOT submit any AI-generated material!

Your submissions should be between 1.5 and 2 minutes long, give or take. Tracks need to have a buttoned/stinger ending, please no fade-outs. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so the material you submit for this request CANNOT be signed with other publishers or catalogs. Sync fees will be split 50/50. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share. Time-permitting, someone from the Company may screen some or all of the submissions. You must own or control your Master to pitch for this opportunity. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. TAXI # S240720CH

Very good ! I agree with Graham it sounds very much on target.

You seem like a guy who's watched too many kids TV shows

One thing I would say is to use a different track title, because the one you have is very specific and if I was searching a catlogue I might not find it. Keep the word "Adventure" but dont use specific names.

Thank you very much, Telefunkin and cosmicdolphin.
Beyond the fact that it's an achievement in itself to receive praise from you, I am grateful for the excellent tips and your attentive listening.
