Sorry if my comments all sound a bit harsh again, but the track sounds a bit too frantic to me, rather than gentle tasking like the refs. To my ears, played like that the pizzi doesn't sound particularly authentic, the reverb is swamping things, the track is relentless with no edit points, is missing a sense of structure and direction, and the sporadic clangs and random percussion early on are confusing.

I listened to the refs. The first one is a really simple composition melodically and rhythmically but has well-defined structure, whereas the other two are more sophisticated and complex with poly-rhythmic illusions and modal elements. Therefore, I'd be tempted to take the easy route and compose something like the first one. My suggestion would be to listen to it at least half a dozen times, making notes on it structure (chords, phrases, rhythms, instrumentation, sound) then use that a basic template to create something along similar lines. The most important thing though is the mood, and if you can capture that you're in with a chance. Keep comparing with the ref tracks to make sure it stays on track.
