From way back - this was put together by Lamar Pecorino with his BIAB skills -
would it work for a TAXI listing? :? :?: 8-) one asking for this genre.

Concept & Lyrics by Peter Rahill - (for the "Let's Be Frank" 5-song EP).
Music and vocal by Lamar Pecorino.

This definitely fits the crooner category imo.

But, and this is a personal pet peeve, I'd get rid of the stick clicks at the beginning. It's cliche and not at all necessary. If you really want them, get rid of the first bar (half-time) clicks. But ideally just hit on the downbeat of the tune.

It's good though! The clarinet playing is nice.

Ah - yeah... this was originally just the first DEMO;
but I think updating the mix without the count-in is still a good idea.
I will have that edit done and repost the NEW MIX sans the cliché clicks.
"Stay tuned."

Thanks for the ears and feedback.
That BAND IN A BOX clarinet guy is the shizz; I agree. :?

It wouldn't fit the current crooner listing which is looking for a replacement track for https://youtu.be/1CieoQeLqcU?si=c_w9mxxVDsiYZWKu

It's very nice. Yea, I'd lose the opening count in (That's classic BIAB). I'm not qualified to say if the sounds are realistic enough for placement. I'm a big BIAB user and they've gotten pretty darn good. One of the bigger issues with BIAB is everything is perfectly quantized unless you manipulate in your DAW. I'm not saying that's the case here, I honestly suck at noticing stuff like that. Others have to tell me! I only use it for rough songwriting demos.

If you get good feedback here, you may want to submit directly to some libraries.

Good luck!
Casey

Nice one Pedro!! The clarinet sounds good until the the solo and it doesn't sound natural. Also for sync I would end after the las word "Magic" at 2:14 with the required sync ending.

Good luck!

oops - this in NOT FOR A CURRENT TAXI listing... the count-in's been eliminated all the same.

Thanks Casey & Andre - those comments are still appreciated, just in case.
For BIAB, I thought what Lamar came up with sounded pretty good. "Cheap Band". :?
Cheers.

Most of that was Lamar's good work.

Huge thanks to all who listened and provided feedback and suggestions.
That track was the original DEMO - and later got full 7-piece LIVE INSTRUMENTS
and the song became the 2nd of a 5-song CD released as "Let's Be Frank" - here's how that sounds:

"Cheers!"

Heard this on SoundCloud and instantly loved it. Sounds like a classic song that has always existed, but brand new at the same time.
