I took the style guitar playing from the last reference and incorporated instrumentation from the other two here and there. This originally was just acoustic guitar and longer, so I edited etc for this listing.

2 cents from a lurker - only about the track (not the listing specs);
1) initially like the vibe; noticed the 'hang time/suspended' at the end of Verse 1 "...lying down"
struck me as a good set-up going into the Chorus.
2) at the 1:09 mark - the percussion/quantized (?) thing goes wonky - so much so that it was difficult to focus on the rest;
particularly the lyrics.

For my ears: would like to hear the song WITHOUT the harmonica/accordion - whatever that 'pad' instrument is;
and without the percussion part. Strip it down - less is more.
Hope that helps. Others more experienced with this genre might chime in.

I think it's a cool tune but I agree with Peter, I'd like to hear it more stripped down like a traditional folk song. From the top I found the main guitar panned left with the delay panned right to be too ambient sounding for the vibe of the song and the percussion is not quite grooving. I could hear it going in a Malvina Reynolds "Little Boxes" direction. The part that sounds tight and caught my ear the most was the very end where the guitar and bass are playing the same line with the whistle over top, I'd milk that!

Regardless, dig the tune, well done.
