Looking for EPIC POP TRAILER feedback (please)!
Posted: Tue Jul 08, 2025 10:08 am
Hi everyone! This is a re-submission to a listing that is being run a second time. The previous submission was returned due to the last act feeling underwhelming. So I went back and tried to layer the heck out of it. Open to feedback and/or suggestions of any kind. Thanks!
The contender: Crest Of Heaven
Here's the listing:
Lots of EPIC TRAILER-Style POP INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a NON-EXCLUSIVE Music Licensing Company that's regularly pitching for placements with BIG, upfront sync fees!
This Company is on the hunt for Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
"Pain It, Black" by Ciara
"Heart Of Darkness" by Steelfeather
"Till I See You Again" by UNSECRET
Although the references have vocals, please submit INSTRUMENTALS ONLY for this opportunity. Some light non-lyrical vocals in the style of the references could work, but are definitely not required. Please don't submit full vocal Songs!
NOTE: Although the references don't necessarily have a 3-Act Structure, the client has stated that "3-Act Structures are required" for this opportunity.
Please submit original Epic Trailer-Style Pop Instrumentals filled with heart-pumping arrangements and intensity! This Company is urgently searching for Instrumentals packed with instrumental development, huge, grandiose sounds, and instant-classic motifs that would work for a variety of movie trailers and promos. Dynamic compositions brimming with powerful energy, impactful moments, and three "acts" that build to a climactic crescendo are going to give you your best shot here. Please craft your pieces around one central motif and create dynamics, interest, and lots of forward development throughout. Some ideas for common instrumentation in this style could include synths, drums, electric guitars, bass, strings, horns, cinematic elements, etc. Please make sure any virtual instruments or samples you use are high-quality, very realistic, and not dated-sounding.
Submissions should be about 1.5 to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Please don't copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Don't submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.
