Glitchy Electronic Music S250808GL

Lots of GLITCH ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a top-shelf EXCLUSIVE Licensing Company with a long track record of landing high-quality sync placements for TAXI members in Film and TV!

This Company is on the hunt for Instrumentals that could be heard on a playlist with the following references and others like them:

"Ants" by edIT

"Uni dia" by Alva Noto

"8 Bit Bitch" by Circuito Cerrado

"Plastic star (session)" by BYETONE

"We Can Make The World Stop" by The Glitch Mob

"I Am Not Into It If You Are In" by Ametsub

Although some of the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this request.

Please submit original Glitch Electronic Instrumentals that marry forward-thinking sound design with inventive compositional structures! Your Compositions should feature manipulated sonic textures, innovative production techniques, engaging rhythms/beats, and a strong sense of atmosphere and movement. Instrumentation in the general ballpark of the references (and others like them) should work best, but don't feel too confined by the references for this pitch. Incorporating elements often used in Glitch and IDM production, such as bitcrushed samples, rhythmic stutters, granular effects, warped digital motifs, modular synthesizer, drum machine, sampler, and granular synthesis techniques, could help to get you right on target for this request! Please make sure that any virtual instruments or samples you use are high-quality and genre-appropriate.

All submissions should be around 2 to 4 minutes in length, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

So that's the listing and this is my track I've been working on. The references are very varied so I just went with my gut feeling and made sure the necessary elements are there. I actually like this track a lot.

My initial thought was that it was maybe developing too slowly. But after listening to the references, you it may be progressing at the right speed. This genre is a bit out of my comfort zone. Best of luck with the track though.

Thanks! Managing the developmental arch and its speed is always a balancing act but this pace was something I felt was right after listening to the references. I guess this genre is not the most popular around here but I really enjoy it since I love things that sound broken :D
